Course objectives

Understand greenhouse gases (GHGs): Gain a clear understanding of what GHGs are and how they influence both local and global weather and climate patterns.

Recognize your impact: Learn how our daily actions contribute to the production of GHGs.

Reduce your impact: Explore ways to minimise your personal carbon footprint.

Collective action: Discover how we can work together within our local and global communities to combat climate change.

Develop an action plan: The steps you will take as an individual and as part of a collective effort to reduce GHG emissions.

Become a Carbon Literate Citizen: Achieve certification as a Carbon Literate Citizen through the Carbon Literacy Trust.

Work with your peer group: in a fun and inspiring environment.

How it works

Our comprehensive training course is completed online over 2 days.

We keep our groups small, with a maximum of 12 participants, to ensure we can address your team’s questions effectively.

Certification will be awarded upon successful completion of the final assessment.​​

Our course is led by Marina, who has extensive experience supporting organisations in transitioning to more sustainable, restorative, and distributive practices. With a background in accounting, risk management, transformation management, and sustainability, Marina excels at simplifying complex issues. Her approach engages and empowers stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaborative problem-solving and catalysing meaningful change.
